Boise And Spokane Venues Get Knitting Factory Name

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) -- Knitting Factory Entertainment is announces the renaming of their Boise and Spokane locations.The two venues will be officially renamed "Knitting Factory Concert House". Knitting FactoryEntertainment brings 20 years experience in venue management and concert promotions to the newvenues. The name change re-enforces Knitting Factory's commitment to the Boise and Spokane marketsby stamping their company signature on the marquees in the respective community. The KnittingFactory has produced world class concerts and entertainment that includes breaking up-and-coming artistsin both Los Angeles and New York.

Each venue has recently completed face lifts, interior remodeling, and installed newly purchased soundand lights. The new look has a much warmer and inviting feel that appeals to a wider range of patrons.The Bourbon Street Uptown Food and Spirits' Restaurant in Boise and Spokane have been transformedinto The Alter Knit Lounge which will feature DJ's and eclectic programming in addition to a full menu.

Knitting Factory Entertainment completed a full acquisition of Bravo Entertainment and The Big EasyConcert House venues in the Fall of 2007.

Dean Hanson, General Manager of the Boise venue says "The Knitting Factory brings a commitment andstyle to the Boise music scene unlike anything we have previously experienced".

Matt Judge, General Manager for the Spokane venue states, "Since Knitting Factory came on board lastyear we have seen exciting new entertainment in the Spokane area such as Modest Mouse, Bright Eyes,Life House, Rob Zombie, and Phil Vassar…just to name a few." Judge adds, "Changing the name fromthe Big Easy Concert House to Knitting Factory Concert House will heighten venue recognition withinthe industry, helping bring talent that would otherwise be absent in the Spokane market. The KnittingFactory Concert House will continue to be one of the driving forces in the Spokane market."

Knitting Factory Entertainment is one of America's most prolific presenters of new and emerging musicaltalent. With more than 6,000 live music performances each year at its New York and Los Angeles venues,the stages of the Knitting Factory have recently featured today's rising stars including M.I.A., The ArcadeFire, Fall Out Boy, and Sufjan Stevens.
