BUFFALO, NY (AP) -- The Buffalo Memorial Auditorium is history. The last remaining section of the old downtown arena was knocked down yesterday afternoon during a ceremony attended by city officials.

There's plans to build a Bass Pro Shops megastore at the Aud site as part of the city's effort to redevelop its Lake Erie waterfront district.
