Live Nation Lands Naming Rights Deal For Westbury Theatre
Posted: July 21, 2010
WESTBURY, NY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) -- Live Nation has struck a deal with the NYCB Family of Banks, including New York Community Bank and New York Commercial Bank over a multi-year naming rights package for the Theatre at Westbury. The theatre will now be called the NYCB Theatre at Westbury.

Operated by Live Nation, the 2,800 capacity theatre hosts approximately 120 concerts per year. Some of the well-known acts on this summer’s lineup include The Beach Boys, The Counting Crows, Asia, Gov't Mule, and Johnny Mathis.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The theatre had formerly been in a naming-rights partnership with another financial institution, Capitol One.

"We look forward to a successful, long-term relationship with New York Community Bank," said Kevin Morrow, President of Live Nation New York. "NYCB is committed to leveraging the emotional appeal of live music in a meaningful way to reach, engage, and connect with the community and their bank customers." - CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
