Jeff Beck Tempts Goldsmith Back To Management
Posted: January 19, 2009
LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) -- Jeff Beck has signed with promoter Harvey Goldsmith as his new manager. This will mark Goldsmith's return to the world of artist management after starting his management company, Artiste Management Productions Limited in 1973.

In recent years, Goldsmith has focused on promoting and in that capacity, he has worked with a who's who list of major artists including U2, Madonna, The Stones, Led Zep & Oasis.

"I'm very excited about working with Jeff, it will be a great partnership," Goldsmith told Billboard. "He is raring to go and his band are incredible, just brilliant. There should be a new album by the end of the year and who knows where we can go with that."

An iconic performer, Jeff Beck has been selected for induction in the class of 2009 into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with the ceremony set to take place on April 4th. It will be old-hat for Beck, who was inducted into the Hall along with the Yardbirds in 1992. - CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
