Robots Invade Big Day Out
Posted: January 16, 2009
WELLINGTON, NZ (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) -- The Big Day Out Festival is set to land in New Zealand this weekend and one of the bands scheduled to perform has been engineered for success.

The band, The Trons, is composed of four robots, Ham on vocals, Fifi on keyboards, Swamp on drums and guitarist (if one string counts as a guitar) Wiggy. The robots, controlled from backstage by a "top secret" software package, were crafted from spare parts and an old computer by musician and repairman Greg Locke.

The band of course, has the de rigueur myspace page, and according to Reuters tours regularly. Look for an album (maybe) sometime in the future. - CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
