Allgood Entertainment Sues Dileo, Jackson, AEG For $40 Million

NEW JERSEY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) -- New Jersey Promoter AllGood Entertainment has filed a $40 million dollar lawsuit in Federal District Court against Michael Jackson, his manager Frank Dileo and promoter AEG Live, alleging among other things, fraud and breach of contract.The lawsuit stems from a contract that Allgood allegedly signed in November with Michael Jackson and his manager Frank Dileo over a Jackson family reunion concert. The contract contained a clause that prevented Jackson from performing for 3 months before or after the reunion show, a clause Allgood contends was violated when Jackson signed with AEG for the 02 London dates.

Furthermore, Allgood alleges that AEG was aware of the contract between Allgood and Jackson and that they have subsequently attempted to interfere with the execution of Allgood's contract. AllGood's attorney, Ira Meyerowitz said "Dileo and the Jacksons must be held accountable for violating plaintiff’s rights under a contract which was signed two full months prior to AEG's 02 London agreement." Meyerowitz claims that Jackson had made repeated assurances that he wished to perform at the disputed concert after he returned from his London shows. "When pressed to commit on a date, Jackson and Dileo both reneged," Meyerowitz added.
