Second Annual Rothbury Music Festival Tuning Up

ROTHBURY, Mich. (AP) — Tens of thousands of music lovers are planning to trade recession blues for rock, folk, hip-hop, reggae and all manner of music at the Rothbury Festival.The second annual festival runs from Thursday through July 5 at the Double JJ Ranch and Resort near Rothbury, located 45 miles northwest of Grand Rapids. The Oceana County village of 416 is gearing once again for the festival that attracted more than 30,000 fans in 2008.

The 70-plus acts, including headliners Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead and Willie Nelson, will perform on five stages. The festival also will offer camping, art installations, light shows, interactive arts and crafts and activities focused on the environment and sustainability. |
