Amsterdam Dance Event Continues To Grow

AMSTERDAM (VIP NEWS) -- The fourteenth edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is over. Delegate registrations sold out three weeks in advance proving that ADE is an important event for electronic music.

Taking place last week from 21st to 24th October, 90,000 electronic music fans descended on the city of Amsterdam to be entertained by over 700 artists at 41 different venues along with 2,100 conference delegates from 46 countries.

The ADE conference has become one of the most important of its kind and provides the international electronic music industry a platform to do business, to exchange knowledge and keep up to date on the latest developments and trends. Central topics were the use of electronic music in games, movies and commercials, the endless opportunities with mobile phone applications and how to connect to your audience in an ever changing world.

The program included speakers such as Armin van Buuren (NL), Carl Craig (USA), Dave Clarke (UK), François K (USA), Jason Alexander (HTGR, USA), Jason Pook (Pioneer, UK), Junkie XL, (USA) Mark Jones (Wall of Sound, UK), Mike Banks (USA), Peter Hook (UK) and Richie Hawtin (CA).

ADE Next was also launched this year as a new platform for the next generation of DJ's and producers to help them get started in the music industry. Taking place on Saturday 24th October, ADE NEXT featured a host top DJ's, producers and industry professionals on hand during the day to help the next generation get started including; Dirty Vegas (GB), Dan Tait (Pioneer, GB), Josh Gabriel (US), Gene Ferris (US), Michel de Hey (NL), Benny Rodrigues (NL), Speedy J (NL), ISIS (NL), Promo (NL) and Radio Slave (DE).
