Live Nation Hit With New Class Action Over PNC
Posted: October 27, 2009
HOLMDEL, NJ (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) -- Live Nation has been the target of another class action lawsuit over fees at the PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey.

The suit, filed on behalf of Lead plaintiff Clifford Davidson, alleges that Live Nation charges a parking fee for each ticket at the venue, but does not provide any option for people who don't plan to park or are carpooling to avoid the fee. Furthermore, the suit claims, there are more seats at the PNC than available parking spaces.

The suit also alleges that Live Nation misled consumers when they pulled mention of the parking fee from their website but added it to their ticket fee. Through this, and similar practices, Davidson alleges that Live Nation has overcharged consumers to the tune of more than $5 million dollars over the last 6 years.

Davidson is seeking an injunction against Live Nation, Live Nation Worldwide and GSAC Partners as well as treble damages and attorney fees.

Live Nation spokesman John Vlautin declined to comment on ongoing litigation. - CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
