Green Day's Summer Stadium Slam
Posted: November 3, 2009
LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) -- Pop-punk pals Green Day have announced a series of European stadium dates set for next summer.

The two UK stadium dates will mark the band's first jaunt in the UK since their two-night stand at Milton-Keynes National Bowl in 2005 that later was featured in the band's live album 'Bullet in a Bible'

So far, only three dates have been announced for the summer season, leading to speculation that the band may be lining up for some festival gigs. Is it a coincidence that the Wembly gig is just four days before Glastonbury?

The band is currently on tour in support of their latest album '21st Century Breakdown'. The tour is in Europe and will head east before winding down in Nagoya, Japan on January 25th.

The newly announced stadium dates:

June 16 - Manchester - Manchester Lancashire County Cricket Ground
June 19 - London - London Wembley Stadium
June 26 - Paris, France - Parc des Princes
