Brad Paisley And John Fogerty Postpone Veteran's Day Concert In Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) -- An October 5th outdoor concert featuring Brad Paisley and John Fogerty has been postponed in the aftermath of the mass shooting at a music festival in Las Vegas.

Andrew Bossemeyer, a spokesman for the ship, confirmed to the Daily Breeze that representatives from "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" had postponed the event in light of the tragic circumstances earlier this week.

The concert, which was to take place on Thursday in the parking lot adjacent to the the USS Iowa, a World War II era battleship converted into a floating museum at the Port of Los Angeles, was primarily for active duty and retired service personnel.

As well, the concert was due to be broadcast on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in recognition of veteran's day.
