Fflam Festival Postponed Due To Wet Weather

WALES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) -- The inaugural Fflam Festival, set for July 13-15 in Wales, has been postponed because wet weather has made site preparation impossible.

The event, which was due to be headlined by Manic Street Preachers, Keane and Placebo, will take place at the end of the summer according to the organizers, but refunds are available at the point of purchase.

“This has been a hard, but well considered decision and we believe it is the best one for all concerned,” event organizers Straight Music said in a statement.

“Due to the bad weather, we have been delayed in putting the infrastructure in place and it is a big concern that the weather conditions will hugely dampen the experience we want to give all our festival goers.”

Straight Music’s John Curd announced that the festival will be held September 28-30, which some slightly different acts joining the line-up.

“Postponing the festival will mean that we can give everyone the Fflam festival experience they deserve, bands organisers and festivalgoers alike,” the statement read. --by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
