Major Labels Caught Re-Writing Wiki History
Posted: August 17, 2007
ST. Petersberg, FL (Hypebot) -- Idolater and its readers used a wiki scanner and found that many of the changes made to major label webs sites were in fact made be employees at the labels themselves. It's not surprising from large corporations who love to control the media and their image and makes for interesting reading.

It might even be mow interesting to learn which indies do this kind re-writing of history. Think about the colorful folks who control Victory, Ministry of Sound, and Beggars and imagine how they might want to re-write their wiki's.

If any Hypebot readers want to use the scanner to play detective, we promise to publish the results.
