SAN FRANCISCO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) -- The 21st Annual Bridge School Benefit Concert will be held at the 22,000 capacity Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. This year's benefit will be held on October 27th & 28th.

The lineup for this year's event includes: Neil Young, Metallica, Jerry Lee Lewis, Eddie Vedder with Flea & Jack Irons, Tom Waits and Kronos Quartet’, John Mayer, Tegan & Sara, Regina Spektor

According to Reuters/Billboard Neil Young, who hosts the annual, mostly-acoustic event, has played every year since launching the benefit in 1986. Proceeds from the shows support the Bridge School, the northern California school for children with physical and speech impediments, co-founded by Young's wife Pegi.

The Bridge School Benefit is an annual non-profit charity concert held in Mountain View, California every October at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. The concerts are all organized by musician Neil and Pegi Young.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Bridge School, which assists mentally and physically handicapped children. The event has been held annually since 1986 and has featured artists ranging from Jerry Garcia to Beck. Young also personally performs every year. The concerts are known for being stellar.
