Live-360 CEO Dave Lucas
Live-360 Too Book Chastain Park Amphitheater
Posted: September 7, 2007
ATLANTA (AP) -- The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, a division of the Robert W. Woodruff Arts Center, Inc., has announced that it has entered into an exclusive booking and consulting agreement with Live-360, the Indianapolis-based entertainment industry leader with over 100 years combined music business experience, for its highly-successful shows at Chastain Park Amphitheater.

The agreement calls for Live-360 to provide programming management for all ASO presentations at Chastain Park Amphitheater and also consult in a number of areas for presentations at Chastain including marketing and production.

“We are honored to have the opportunity to further our relationship with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra by working with them on Chastain”, said Dave Lucas, CEO of Live-360.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra President and Managing Director, Allison Vulgamore said, “This is a natural extension of our relationship with Live-360 and further strengthens our commitment to the community, continuing the ASO’s 34-year track record of successful programming at Chastain Park Amphitheater. This relationship extends the Atlanta Symphony’s unique position among America orchestras as a music institution equally comfortable as a performer, presenter, and producer – whether in Symphony Hall, Chastain Park Amphitheater, or the new Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park.”

As previously announced, Live-360 has also entered into a long-term consulting agreement with the ASO for its new state-of-the-art Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park. Located in Alpharetta, Georgia, a northern suburb of Atlanta, the 12,000-seat amphitheatre, with recent ground breaking ceremonies, is scheduled to open in May 2008. The venue will feature name talent concerts, symphony performances and other community events.
