Four Independent Music Companies Join Forces In New Entertainment Company

THE NETHERLANDS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) -- Backstage rumours have been going on for a while, but now it’s finally official: artist management firms, MSF Music and Mana Music join forces with concert promoter and booking agency The Alternative. The new company, that will operate under the name The Alternative, has joined forces with Dutch full service entertainment firm: The Entertainment Group.

This new music- and entertainment company is being formed by a strategic merger between four existing companies with each of them contributing their own specialized network, experience and expertise: MSF Music (management Krezip and After Forever), Mana Music (management Room Eleven en Taxi To The Ocean), concert promoter and booking agency The Alternative (Coldplay, Jack Johnson, Pete Philly & Perquisite and Moke) and The Entertainment Group.

Initiators are Emiel Govaert (MSF Music), Marc Hofstede (The Entertainment Group), Willem Venema (The Alternative), Folkert Blaauw (The Alternative) and Jacco van Lanen (Mana Music).

As of September 1st, the company will operate from their new offices in Hilversum focusing on management, agency, bookings, concert promotion, festivals, publishing and recordings for both national and international talent.

The Alternative will start its business with the following portfolio of artists:
